Job Description

As our Inside Salesperson, you will act as the primary in-house sales contact for prospects and existing customers with the objective of closing inbound leads, expanding existing accounts, and qualifying leads for our outside salespeople. Our products are primarily consumer-focused Internet access products, and we primarily sell under our licensed Motorola brand to Best Buy and other large electronics retailers, cable and cell service providers, and resellers of cell modems and routers. It’s important that you have good oral and written communication skills, enjoy people, and that you’re smart and willing to learn in a 40-person company in downtown Boston.

Objectives of this Role

  • Qualify inbound leads, prepare quotes, and close sales opportunities
  • Work with existing accounts
  • Prospect into key target accounts
  • Collaborate with outside salespeople
  • Collaborate with our operations and engineering staff

What you’ll be doing:

  • Sales experience, ideally with consumer technology products
  • Self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with executive management
  • Can express ideas in persuasive emails and other written communications
  • Able to own a project and to drive issues to closure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a true team player
  • Organized and able to handle detail
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, required CRM preferred
